As many of you are aware Chris really loved Christmas, so much so that he would start planning his present list in October! With this in mind we wanted to mark the year of his 21st Birthday with not only a fitting tribute to him and his love of Christmas, but something to benefit the local community to enjoy. So on 27th September 2014 we handed a cheque over for £4,000 to Greasby Community Association to enable them to provide Christmas lighting for the 12 lamp columns between the Wood Lane area and the main Greasby Road shops area . The association wanted to link the lights between both set of shops but had not been able to do this due to lack of funds,so we are delighted to enable this to happen in Chris's memory. The 12 lamp columns will be kitted out ready to receive the lights and there will be acknowledgments on each of the columns. So when you drive through Greasby at Christmas please think of Chris and his Christmas list. We would like to thank you all for your all the generous support you give to us and the foundation as without this we would not have been able to mark his 21st birthday in this most fitting way.
